Reservations, Confirmations, Policies and Cancellations

Costa Rica Wildlife Trails offers fast and efficient answers to all your doubts and questions, as part of our philosophy, we guarantee answers in a minimum of 24 hours. You can make modifications to your itinerary without additional costs or penalties.

When you are already sure of the services you want to book through Costa Rica Wildlife Trails, you only have to confirm us by email, then you will receive a form which you must complete, sign and return to us. Having this information we will formally initiate the reservation process, where our agents will process the services of your itinerary with the suppliers, in case you have not found space in the original hotels of the offer we will proceed to book an alternative hotel of the same or better category to the initially chosen one.

When all the services are already confirmed, you will receive a written confirmation from our agents, which includes all the details of the reserved services, including confirmation numbers. Also, along with the confirmation, you will receive the pro forma invoice, which includes final amount to be paid, required payment date and data of our bank accounts in US dollars.

Travel documents:

Before your travel date approaches, you will receive a document called Travel Plan, which includes the breakdown of all reserved services, name and contact of each of the providers and confirmation numbers, this document includes pick-up times for transfers And confirmed excursions. You will not receive any voucher before your arrival in Costa Rica.

Upon arrival in Costa Rica, a representative of Costa Rica Wildlife Trails will be waiting for you at the airport exit with a sign with your first and last name, to take you to your next destination or hotel booked.
That same day your guide will deliver your travel package, which includes the itinerary with all the details, vouchers for each of the services, a map of Costa Rica and a welcome gift from our company.

Cancellation Policy:

If you already have a formal confirmation from us, but for some reason you cannot make the trip, please follow the following steps:

The cancellation charges vary according to the proximity of your travel date, thanks for taking into consideration the following data:

Costa Rica Wildlife Trails recommends to all clients to purchase travel insurance in their country of origin which can cover the amount in case of a possible cancellation.

Assistance During Your Trip:

Costa Rica Wildlife Trails has a telephone line enabled 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to assist all its customers in the country, on the day of arrival, you will receive all necessary contacts in your travel kit to obtain this benefit.

Terms and Conditions

Please take into consideration the following terms and conditions when contracting Costa Rica Wildlife Trails services:

1. Completion of your travel contract:

Costa Rica Wildlife Trails recommends to all clients to purchase travel insurance in their country of origin which can cover the amount in case of a possible cancellation. The contract signed between Costa Rica Wildlife Trails and the client is given when the client receives formal written confirmation to his email, which includes the breakdown of services contracted along with the invoice that includes amount to cancel and calendar of payments. In case of any disagreement subsequent to the confirmation received, the client must inform by email to the address: info@crwildlifetrails.com its non-compliance, where Costa Rica Wildlife Trails will be obliged to modify and replace the services where there was disagreement, This during the next 8 business days. From that moment, the initial contract will be canceled, where the next contract will be applied based on the new offer sent, provided there is a complete acceptance by the client. In case of an initial payment, it must be applied to the new confirmed offer.

Payment Policies

Upon receipt of the confirmation and invoice, the customer accepts the contract for the reserved services, after this, the customer must proceed with the initial payment of guarantee corresponding to 30% of the total amount of the invoice, within the following 7 subsequent business days Upon receipt of the invoice for the contracted services.

The balance of the remaining 70% must be paid in full, in US dollars, 45 days prior to your arrival in Costa Rica, without the need to receive a written reminder from us.

Thank you for taking into account that the vast majority of SWIFT bank transfers take about 6 business days to be credited and reflected in the beneficiary’s account.

Please note that charges for international transfer must be fully covered by the customer.

Costa Rica Wildlife Trails will have the right to cancel the confirmed services within the travel contract, in case of not having received the corresponding payment on the agreed date within the invoice. Such cancellations may generate penalty charges according to the policies established and signed in the contracts with each provider of the services involved in the client’s travel itinerary.
